Our firm’s employees have each been providing government relations services for more than a decade.  These services have included drafting legislation, preparing memorandums, letters and briefing documents; performing issue analysis and briefing personnel on legislative issues; coordinating strategy sessions with state legislators, agency personnel and clients; arranging for bill sponsorship; researching, preparing and lobbying various proposals; securing appropriation and grant funding; business development and other duties related to our clients’ government relations agenda.

Our staff has established relationships with members and staff of the Illinois General Assembly to provide governmental and legislative services to various clients.  We create opportunities for our clients to meet with legislative leaders to educate them about our clients’ interests and address their needs and concerns.  These meetings are mutually beneficial and help us facilitate a strong relationship between our clients and members of the General Assembly.

We use several bill tracking systems to monitor legislation that is important to our clients, and stay abreast of new filings, amendments, rules reports and committee actions.  The combination of the systems gives us multiple checks on an increasingly complex process and allows us to best provide a comprehensive monitoring program to our clients.
